Lisa I. Romero

Lisa I. Romero is currently an MA candidate in International Affairs at the New School with a concentration in Development. Her lifelong passion for fashion and clothing mixed with her interest in human rights, environmental conservation and corporate social responsibility inspired the idea for her project. Her project examines the major problems associated with the fashion industry: unequal and unfair pay, child labor, unsafe work environments, and countless ecological damages caused by factories. The project is designed as a course in order to educate people and give them tips and insight on how to become a more conscious consumer of clothing.
